A Celebration of life and Legacy for Johnny Bowden, Jr., known to family and friends as “Honey Buddy” of Livingston who passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023. will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Bethel Pine Baptist Church, Reverend Willie J Ivory, Sr., Pastor; Reverend DeWayne Charleston is to officiate with Interment to follow in New Prospect Cemetery in Livingston. Public viewing and visitation will be 1-3:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 at McInnis Mortuary in Livingston and 4-6:00 p.m. at the New Prospect Baptist Church in Livingston. He will lie in state one hour at Bethel Pine Baptist Church prior to service time on Saturday. McInnis mortuary of Livingston is entrusted with all arrangements.


His Memory will forever be remembered by his Wife, Betty Bowden, his children; Anetrica Bowden (Derick), Darell Bowden, Sherita Bowden, Shenita Bowden and Gregory Bryant, his siblings; James (Shirley) Bowden, Donnna Russell, Evoone Hatter, Gwen (Murray) Campbell, Wayne (Sarah) Bowden, Kendrick (Lucille) Bowden, Ricky (Annie) Bowden, Frances Bowden, Tommy (Valtina) Bowden, Teresa Bowden, Wennie Tolliver and Regina Skelton along with his grandchildren; other relatives and friends
