A Celebration of life for Margaret Baskin Artis, known to family and friends as “Cookie” of York who passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Livingston Junior High School. The Elder John H Wright is to officiate. Interment to follow in The Shady Grove Cemetery in Livingston. The family will received friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 at McInnis Mortuary in Livingston. Cookie will lie in state at the School prior to the Service from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. McInnis Mortuary of Livingston is entrusted with all arrangements.

Heartfelt and sincere sympathy is extended to the entire bereaved Baskin, Russell and Artis family especially her children; Clifford Baskin, Thad Russell, Jr., Delvin Artis and April Artis; her Sisters, Roxie Rancher and Dorothy Jones, her brother; Crawford Baskin, Jr., her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives along with The Reverend John Powell and Shady Grove Baptist Church Family.
